The BudgetProjection record (BudgetProjection) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each BudgetProjection row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, nodeId, name, baseYear, horizonYears, assumptions, projectedData, notes, createdAt. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a budget projection as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every BudgetProjection row carries a tenantId, one institution's budget projection data is never visible to another.
