Budget transaction — date incurred

date incurred (BudgetTransaction.dateIncurred) is a field stored on each budget transaction record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a DateTime value and is part of the budget transaction record's data. The dateIncurred field belongs to the budget transaction it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set dateIncurred while working with that BudgetTransaction record. Because dateIncurred is part of the BudgetTransaction record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the budget transaction.
