Budget transaction

The BudgetTransaction record (BudgetTransaction) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each BudgetTransaction row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, nodeId, categoryId, type, amount, description, fundingSource, fundId, vendor. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a budget transaction as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every BudgetTransaction row carries a tenantId, one institution's budget transaction data is never visible to another.
