It holds a DateTime value and is part of the budget transaction record's data. The dateRecorded field belongs to the budget transaction it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set dateRecorded while working with that BudgetTransaction record. Because dateRecorded is part of the BudgetTransaction record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the budget transaction.
