The CandidateEvaluation record (CandidateEvaluation) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each CandidateEvaluation row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, candidateId, evaluatorId, research, teaching, service, fit, diversity, comments. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a candidate evaluation as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every CandidateEvaluation row carries a tenantId, one institution's candidate evaluation data is never visible to another.
