research (CandidateEvaluation.research) is a field stored on each candidate evaluation record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Int value and is part of the candidate evaluation record's data. The research field belongs to the candidate evaluation it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set research while working with that CandidateEvaluation record. Because research is part of the CandidateEvaluation record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the candidate evaluation.
