It holds a String value and is part of the catalog change record's data. The tenantId field belongs to the catalog change it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set tenantId while working with that CatalogChange record. Because tenantId is part of the CatalogChange record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the catalog change.
