The CatalogChange record (CatalogChange) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each CatalogChange row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, proposalId, departmentId, changeType, description, courseId, programId, isApplied, appliedAt. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a catalog change as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every CatalogChange row carries a tenantId, one institution's catalog change data is never visible to another.
