The CohortParameter record (CohortParameter) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each CohortParameter row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, sessionId, name, attributeKey, type, weight, sortOrder, options, preferenceRank. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a cohort parameter as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every CohortParameter row carries a tenantId, one institution's cohort parameter data is never visible to another.
