weight (CohortParameter.weight) is a field stored on each cohort parameter record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Float value and is part of the cohort parameter record's data. The weight field belongs to the cohort parameter it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set weight while working with that CohortParameter record. Because weight is part of the CohortParameter record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the cohort parameter.
