It holds a String value and is part of the cohort placement record's data. The tenantId field belongs to the cohort placement it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set tenantId while working with that CohortPlacement record. Because tenantId is part of the CohortPlacement record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the cohort placement.
