It holds a String value and is part of the compensation band record's data. The tenantId field belongs to the compensation band it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set tenantId while working with that CompensationBand record. Because tenantId is part of the CompensationBand record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the compensation band.
