The ContingencyScenario record (ContingencyScenario) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each ContingencyScenario row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, name, type, targetFacultyId, description, impactData, createdAt, updatedAt, tenant. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a contingency scenario as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every ContingencyScenario row carries a tenantId, one institution's contingency scenario data is never visible to another.
