Course outcome mapping — outcome id

outcome id (CourseOutcomeMapping.outcomeId) is a field stored on each course outcome mapping record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the course outcome mapping record's data. The outcomeId field belongs to the course outcome mapping it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set outcomeId while working with that CourseOutcomeMapping record. Because outcomeId is part of the CourseOutcomeMapping record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the course outcome mapping.
