title (Course.title) is a field stored on each course record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the course record's data. The title field belongs to the course it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set title while working with that Course record. Because title is part of the Course record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the course.
