The currentVersion field belongs to the curriculum proposal it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set currentVersion while working with that CurriculumProposal record. Because currentVersion is part of the CurriculumProposal record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the curriculum proposal.
