The CurriculumProposal record (CurriculumProposal) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each CurriculumProposal row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, departmentId, proposalType, title, description, rationale, courseId, programId, proposedChanges. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a curriculum proposal as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every CurriculumProposal row carries a tenantId, one institution's curriculum proposal data is never visible to another.
