Equity snapshot

The EquitySnapshot record (EquitySnapshot) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each EquitySnapshot row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, departmentId, academicYear, snapshotDate, metrics, groupBreakdowns, courseDistribution, createdAt, tenant. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a equity snapshot as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every EquitySnapshot row carries a tenantId, one institution's equity snapshot data is never visible to another.
