Equity snapshot — snapshot date

snapshot date (EquitySnapshot.snapshotDate) is a field stored on each equity snapshot record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a DateTime value and is part of the equity snapshot record's data. The snapshotDate field belongs to the equity snapshot it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set snapshotDate while working with that EquitySnapshot record. Because snapshotDate is part of the EquitySnapshot record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the equity snapshot.
