Evidence item — section id

section id (EvidenceItem.sectionId) is a field stored on each evidence item record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the evidence item record's data. The sectionId field belongs to the evidence item it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set sectionId while working with that EvidenceItem record. Because sectionId is part of the EvidenceItem record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the evidence item.
