submitted at (EvidenceItem.submittedAt) is a field stored on each evidence item record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a DateTime value and is part of the evidence item record's data. The submittedAt field belongs to the evidence item it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set submittedAt while working with that EvidenceItem record. Because submittedAt is part of the EvidenceItem record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the evidence item.
