The EvidenceMapping record (EvidenceMapping) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each EvidenceMapping row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, criterionId, evidenceType, evidenceId, evidenceLabel, evidenceDate, freshnessStatus, notes, mappedBy. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a evidence mapping as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every EvidenceMapping row carries a tenantId, one institution's evidence mapping data is never visible to another.
