It holds a String value and is part of the evidence mapping record's data. The mappedBy field belongs to the evidence mapping it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set mappedBy while working with that EvidenceMapping record. Because mappedBy is part of the EvidenceMapping record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the evidence mapping.
