Evidence mapping — notes

notes (EvidenceMapping.notes) is a field stored on each evidence mapping record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the evidence mapping record's data. The notes field belongs to the evidence mapping it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set notes while working with that EvidenceMapping record. Because notes is part of the EvidenceMapping record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the evidence mapping.
