donor (Fund.donor) is a field stored on each fund record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the fund record's data. The donor field belongs to the fund it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set donor while working with that Fund record. Because donor is part of the Fund record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the fund.
