The Fund record (Fund) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each Fund row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, name, fundType, principal, currentBalance, restrictionLevel, restrictedCategories, restrictedTiers, restrictionNotes. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a fund as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every Fund row carries a tenantId, one institution's fund data is never visible to another.
