restricted tiers (Fund.restrictedTiers) is a field stored on each fund record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Json value and is part of the fund record's data. The restrictedTiers field belongs to the fund it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set restrictedTiers while working with that Fund record. Because restrictedTiers is part of the Fund record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the fund.
