It holds a String value and is part of the fund transaction record's data. The description field belongs to the fund transaction it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set description while working with that FundTransaction record. Because description is part of the FundTransaction record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the fund transaction.
