Grant — submission date

submission date (Grant.submissionDate) is a field stored on each grant record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a DateTime value and is part of the grant record's data. The submissionDate field belongs to the grant it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set submissionDate while working with that Grant record. Because submissionDate is part of the Grant record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the grant.
