description (OutcomeVersion.description) is a field stored on each outcome version record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the outcome version record's data. The description field belongs to the outcome version it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set description while working with that OutcomeVersion record. Because description is part of the OutcomeVersion record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the outcome version.
