Professional development — faculty id

faculty id (ProfessionalDevelopment.facultyId) is a field stored on each professional development record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the professional development record's data. The facultyId field belongs to the professional development it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set facultyId while working with that ProfessionalDevelopment record. Because facultyId is part of the ProfessionalDevelopment record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the professional development.
