Proposal step status — step id

step id (ProposalStepStatus.stepId) is a field stored on each proposal step status record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the proposal step status record's data. The stepId field belongs to the proposal step status it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set stepId while working with that ProposalStepStatus record. Because stepId is part of the ProposalStepStatus record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the proposal step status.
