The ProposalStepStatus record (ProposalStepStatus) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each ProposalStepStatus row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, approvalId, stepId, status, completedAt, createdAt, updatedAt, tenant, approval. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a proposal step status as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every ProposalStepStatus row carries a tenantId, one institution's proposal step status data is never visible to another.
