The ReportVersion record (ReportVersion) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each ReportVersion row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, reportId, version, content, variables, changeNote, createdBy, createdAt, tenant. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a report version as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every ReportVersion row carries a tenantId, one institution's report version data is never visible to another.
