Report version — change note

change note (ReportVersion.changeNote) is a field stored on each report version record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the report version record's data. The changeNote field belongs to the report version it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set changeNote while working with that ReportVersion record. Because changeNote is part of the ReportVersion record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the report version.
