tenant id (ReportVersion.tenantId) is a field stored on each report version record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the report version record's data. The tenantId field belongs to the report version it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set tenantId while working with that ReportVersion record. Because tenantId is part of the ReportVersion record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the report version.
