promotion recommended (ReviewOutcome.promotionRecommended) is a field stored on each review outcome record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Boolean value and is part of the review outcome record's data. The promotionRecommended field belongs to the review outcome it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set promotionRecommended while working with that ReviewOutcome record. Because promotionRecommended is part of the ReviewOutcome record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the review outcome.
