It holds a Boolean value and is part of the role record's data. The isSystem field belongs to the role it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set isSystem while working with that Role record. Because isSystem is part of the Role record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the role.
