Room — building

building (Room.building) is a field stored on each room record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the room record's data. The building field belongs to the room it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set building while working with that Room record. Because building is part of the Room record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the room.
