Room

The Room record (Room) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each Room row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, name, building, number, capacity, equipment, isActive, notes, createdAt. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a room as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every Room row carries a tenantId, one institution's room data is never visible to another.
