equipment (Room.equipment) is a field stored on each room record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String[] value and is part of the room record's data. The equipment field belongs to the room it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set equipment while working with that Room record. Because equipment is part of the Room record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the room.
