The externalRubricId field belongs to the rubric mapping it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set externalRubricId while working with that RubricMapping record. Because externalRubricId is part of the RubricMapping record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the rubric mapping.
