It holds a String value and is part of the scholarly work record's data. The venue field belongs to the scholarly work it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set venue while working with that ScholarlyWork record. Because venue is part of the ScholarlyWork record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the scholarly work.
