The ScholarlyWork record (ScholarlyWork) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each ScholarlyWork row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, facultyId, type, title, publicationType, venue, coAuthors, date, year. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a scholarly work as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every ScholarlyWork row carries a tenantId, one institution's scholarly work data is never visible to another.
