Service record — hours per week

hours per week (ServiceRecord.hoursPerWeek) is a field stored on each service record record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Float value and is part of the service record record's data. The hoursPerWeek field belongs to the service record it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set hoursPerWeek while working with that ServiceRecord record. Because hoursPerWeek is part of the ServiceRecord record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the service record.
