The ServiceRecord record (ServiceRecord) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each ServiceRecord row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, facultyId, category, type, title, role, organization, startDate, endDate. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a service record as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every ServiceRecord row carries a tenantId, one institution's service record data is never visible to another.
