Template variable — variable name

variable name (TemplateVariable.variableName) is a field stored on each template variable record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the template variable record's data. The variableName field belongs to the template variable it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set variableName while working with that TemplateVariable record. Because variableName is part of the TemplateVariable record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the template variable.
