Time block — start time

start time (TimeBlock.startTime) is a field stored on each time block record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the time block record's data. The startTime field belongs to the time block it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set startTime while working with that TimeBlock record. Because startTime is part of the TimeBlock record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the time block.
