The TimeBlock record (TimeBlock) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each TimeBlock row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, label, days, startTime, endTime, isActive, createdAt, updatedAt, tenant. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a time block as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every TimeBlock row carries a tenantId, one institution's time block data is never visible to another.
