The User record (User) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each User row stores fields such as id, email, name, suiteUserId, createdAt, updatedAt, tenants, sessions. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a user as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. The user record links to the tenant that owns it, keeping each institution's user data isolated.
